Malcolm Pippin

Malcolm was born and raised in Williston, the son of Harry and Hilda Pippin. After graduating from Williston High School, he attended UND in Grand Forks and graduated with a degree in accounting and obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in 1986. Thereafter, he attended UND Law School graduating in 1989 with Honors. After graduation he clerked for North Dakota Supreme Court Justice H.F. Gierke. Thereafter, he joined the Nilles Law Firm in Fargo where he practiced in a number of different areas of law until 2013. In 2013, he started the Pippin Law Firm.

Malcolm has a general practice of law having tried in excess of 100 trials and handled over 30 appeals to the North Dakota Supreme Court. He is judicially and peer reviewed by Martindale-Hubbell as preeminent (AV). Malcolm is recognized as a Super Lawyer in the Midwest, and was named as a Lawyer of Distinction®.

Malcolm has three daughters. When he is not working, he enjoys traveling, spending time at the lake, watching Sioux hockey, and spending time with friends and family. He also enjoys giving back to the community of Williston that he is so very fond of with his time and resources.

Rebecca L. Winkler

Rebecca began her practice in Wyoming in 2005, where she concentrated on oil and gas law, as well as business law. She brought the experience that she gained in Wyoming's coalbed methane boom to Pippin Law Firm in the summer of 2015. She currently focuses on probates, adoptions, and assisting businesses with all of their needs, from organization to sale.

Legal Assistant

Jennifer Lawson

Jennifer was born and raised in Arkansas. In 2019, after moving to Williston, she began her career with Pippin Law Firm. Jennifer furthered her education and received her Legal Assistant/Paralegal certificate in 2020. She is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). Jennifer has a passion for coaching and began coaching cheer for the Williston school district in 2019. She moved up to coach the High School Cheer team where she was able to help bring home numerous awards for Williston. In 2022, Jennifer began the ‘Cheer Squad’ at the Arc in Williston.

Jennifer enjoys spending time with her children and being involved in the community. She loves to travel and enjoys reading.


 

Administrative Assistant

Lindsay Temizel

Lindsay is originally from Minnesota and now calls Williston home. She lived in Turkey for five years where she taught English as a second language to college students and children in Ankara, Turkey and Eskisehir, Turkey. Lindsay enjoys traveling and time in the mountains. She is looking forward to serving the people of Williston with her team at Pippin Law Firm.
